Basic Maintenance Class

Basic Maintenance Class

A question I get asked frequently when customer's drop off their bike for service is, "Do you offer any type of maintenance class?" Well, you are in luck.

Each Saturday during the month of February, Eric Mason, owner of Leading Edge Cyclery, will host a 1 hour session teaching essential basic maintenance skills that you as the rider can perform at home, on the road, or the trail.  Each session will focus on different topics. Sessions will be held from 9:00AM-10:00AM on site at Leading Edge Cyclery.

Here is a breakdown of the topics for each week:

Week 1 - The Basics (bicycle anatomy and removal/installation of tires and tubes)

Week 2 - Drivetrain and Brakes (discuss different systems and how to adjust)

Week 3 - Cleaning and Lubrication (discuss and demonstrate cleaning and lubrication)

Week 4 - Hands On (review of the previous weeks with the opportunity to put your newly acquired skills to use)

Due to space, the class size will be limited to 5 people.  Availability is first come, first serve.  Payment must be made to hold your spot.  The cost of class is for all 4 weeks.  To reserve your spot, click on the link below.  Feel free to contact Eric with any questions you might have.
