In 2024, after nearly 20 years in the cycling industry, owner, Eric Mason, decided it was time to go out on his own.  During this time, Eric honed his skills and worked tirelessly to establish himself as a well respected, go-to bike mechanic, salesperson, and certified bike fitter.  Someone that is known within the industry that people respect and trust.

It had long been a dream of his to someday have a bike shop that he could call his own. A shop that people could come to because they know the quality of service they will receive, the quality of service their bike will receive. A shop that establishes itself as a beacon within the community in order to help make it a better place.

About the name.....

At the age of 3, Eric developed a passion for aviation, specifically, military aviation.  More than anything else, he wanted to become a fighter pilot.  However, around the age of 12, his eyesight decided that his plans would need to change.  Even though his dream to become a fighter pilot was over, his passion for military aviation never wavered.  Since then, Eric has attended numerous airshows to fulfill his other passion of aviation photography. You may see if a few of these pictures upon your arrival at the shop.

When it came time to decide on a name for the shop, Eric knew that it was only fitting to combine his love of cycling and aviation together to create a unique, one-of-a-kind bicycle shop that set itself apart from others. In cycling, a leading edge is to be at the forefront of your competition.  In aviation, a leading edge, as an aerodynamic definition, is the part of the wing that contacts the air first.
